It is estimated that most men will experience premature ejaculation (PE) at least once in their lifetime. Despite this, it is a problem most men like to acknowledge. Designers of a new wearable patch, are confident it is the surest solution to the issue.

Putting You In Charge

The gadget, called ‘Mor’ was recently showcased at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. It is a patch designed to be fitted between the scrotum and anus during intercourse.

Linked to an app, the user can simply press a button to eliminate the urge to ejaculate, thereby improving sexual performance.

In a statement, CEO and founder of Morari Medical—designers of the device—Jeff Bennett said:

PE [premature ejaculation] is the most common male sexual dysfunction and is experienced by 30 percent of men.Morari Medical is using science and data to address PE and restore confidence in sexual health.

The smartphone app can be connected and controlled by either the individual wearing it or their partner. Users have the ability to increase or reduce how much stimulation is released from the patch. Bennett said:

It’s our mission to use the latest technology to reframe climax control and serve millions of men to drive pleasure, enhance self-esteem, and live a fulfilled, healthy sexual life.

How It Works

The gadget contains a tiny battery, a Bluetooth transmitter and a wireless transdermal electric neuromodulation (TENS) unit.

It works similarly to the machine used by pregnant women to relieve pain during labour. So, by interrupting the signals from a man’s brain, it is able to delay the onset of ejaculation. Dr. Aaron Davis, of Everest Men’s Health, said:

It’s clear after conducting the couples’ study that there is a great market opportunity for a product that can help enhance sexual experiences. Morari’s product has the potential to have a profound impact on sexual health and to improve relationships through greater intimacy and better communication.

The company hopes to launch in 2023.
