The process doesn’t involve figs either, but you can use anything that provides some extra heat—cinnamon, Tabasco sauce, peppermint oil, hot peppers, garlic.

You can even sprinkle the area with ground ginger powder! However, if you want to go all the way and shove a finger of ginger up your butt, you’ll want to follow the following advice:

Peel the ginger finger first, and then carve it in a way that allows you to put it up your ass without it getting lost. It wouldn’t be fun to explain why ginger was in your anus to your doctor, would it?

Therefore, it’s best to carve a wider piece at the bottom of the peeled ginger, so that you don’t risk an embarrassing trip to the ER. Oh, and remember to avoid touching your eye after you peel the gingeryou’ll be forced to go through a type of burn that you don’t want to experience.

Keep in mind that it can sometimes take a hot minute to burn, so don’t try to increase the sensation by shooting an additional squirt of hot sauce up there. Just wait for the sensation to kick in!

Oh, and if you want to “fig” someone, do us all a favour and double-check to make sure the intended victim isn’t allergic to ginger, cinnamon, garlic, or whatever you want to use as a figging mechanism. It’s probably just best to ask for consent in general. Anyways, you’re probably wondering: where did figging come from? We’ll tell you all about it in our video!
