28 grams of pistachios contain six grams of protein which promotes muscle growth, helps relieve muscle soreness and supports muscle recovery after exercising. It doesn’t get much better than that.

Pistachios are rich in vitaminB1 and B6 which provide the body with a high amount of energy. So if you’re in need of an energy boost, Californian pistachios are the way to go.

Stimulates brain activity

Many people don’t know this, but pistachios stimulate brain activity. According to a study by the Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology Journal, regularly eating pistachios promotes the frequency of brain waves that are linked to thinking, expanding, learning, memory and other key brain functions.

Helps lower bad cholesterol

Pistachios help lower your levels of bad cholesterol! How? Because of the many antioxidants that they contain. And what’s more, eating pistachios increases your levels of good cholesterol.
