Terra Hale: The Eco-Friendly Gym That Converts Your Calories Into Electricity

What if you could convert the energy you expend at the gym into electricity? Well, now you can, thanks to three Terra Hale fitness studios in London.

Nowadays it’s possible to be both sporty and eco-friendly! Terra Hale fitness studios in London are offering a whole new concept of sport.

Thanks to an initiative introduced by former professional snowboarder Michal Homola, gym-members can generate electricity whilst working up a sweat in the studio. Cardio machines have been fitted with a small device which produces the same effect as a dynamo and powers the studio with generated electricity.

The gym is nearly 100% environmentally friendly. Most of the building materials, including the wood used to create the walls, are recycled. Air-filtering plants were also installed inside the materials.

The only real drawback is the price. Per month it would cost you around £70 to take part in 4 group sessions, with complete access to the gym priced at £230. Being eco-friendly comes at a price.
