This Is What Coca-Cola Really Does To Your Stomach (Video)

A scientific experiment reproduced the reaction in our stomach when we drink Coke. When the soda comes in contact with stomach acid it creates a surprising and worrying gaseous reaction.

To recreate the reaction in our stomach, the experiment used a substance similar to stomach acid to which they added Coke. The results were immediate, and frankly rather frightening.

The liquid boils as the two substances come in contact with each and increase in intensity until the formula runs over the edge of the glass.

The mixture then begins to harden and smoke. The result is a burning black mass that resembles tar, and the scientists aren’t even able to move the stirring rod.

Kind of makes you think twice about drinking it doesn't it? Take a look at the video above and watch the chemical reaction take place!
