A mother of two children left her partner a disturbing voicemail where she says "we have to get out" before the car caught fire.
A mother and her two young children are lucky to be alive, as they barely escaped the explosion of their vehicle, as shown by the distressing footage recorded by security cameras.
"Supermama" Catherine Mayes, a native of Canberra in Australia, was able to remove and save her baby and her other son from the Mazda CX-5 that was about to be swallowed by the flames. She did it in a few seconds!
Tommy and Hunter are tremendously lucky to have a mother as brave as Catherine, because despite the panic-worthy moment, the woman was able to keep calm to save the lives of her loved ones.
Mrs. Mayes shouted "we have to get out" while trying to get her son, who was totally covered in smoke, out of the car. According to local media reports, the woman was using a spare battery that should not be exposed to the heat of the sun.
