Good news, I’m A Celeb fans! After a pre-recorded episode on Friday and three days off-air, this year’s series is finally set to be back on our screens tonight at 9pm. The celebrities are thought to have returned to camp either late on Monday or early on Tuesday after being evacuated due to Storm Arwen.

A statement from ITV confirmed:

I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! will return from tomorrow night (Tuesday 30th November) on ITV and ITV Hub with a brand new show. Ant & Dec will be back presenting live from the Castle.

Why was I’m A Celeb camp evacuated?

The celebrities were evacuated from Gwrych Castle on Saturday night to ensure their safety as Storm Arwen hit. An insider told MailOnline on Saturday:

It looks like a bomb has hit the site today. The roofs of the marquees have been ripped or torn off and equipment is lying on on its side along with the fencing.

Will I’m A Celeb 2021 be extended?

After missing three episodes of I’m A Celeb these past few days, some fans wondered if the series would be extended so we still get the same number of episodes. However, it sounds like the show is still set to end on the original date—Sunday 12 December. According to The Sun, show reps have confirmed the series won’t be extended.

It remains to be seen whether bosses will scrap some of the planned trials or whether they will squeeze more trials into a shorter amount of time. We’d vote for the second option—although producers might have to think of a different reward as the celebs generally compete in the trials to win meals for camp.
