They Drove For 12 Miles, Then Realised There Was Someone In Their Boot
In the United States, a couple drove more than 12 miles on a motorway before realising that a drunk man was quietly sleeping on top of the boot.
It is a miracle that the man wasn't hurt. After a barbecue, Carl and Hazel Webb hit the road to go home. On the way, they were arrested by the police. Why? Because a drunk man was asleep on top of the boot of their car!
The couple could not believe it: having not seen the body because of the sunroof, they drove with a sleeping body on their vehicle for more than 12 miles! At any moment, the man could have fallen...
The stranger was woken up and taken away by the police: "It's indescribable. It was incredible," said the driver. Memphis police did not say whether the driver or the drunk man was fined.
