This Saturday, March 14, at exactly 11:38 am, Olivier Véran, Minister of Solidarity and Health, shared a tweet that was retweeted over 15,000 times within just two hours. In it, he writes that taking anti-inflammatory drugs "could contribute to worsening infection" with the coronavirus.

His advice? To avoid anti-inflammatory drugs if you're infected (or think you are) and use paracetamol instead, if you have a fever. Here's what he said exactly:
'Taking anti-inflammatory drugs (ibuprofen, cortisone,...) could make the infection worse. If you have a fever, take paracetamol. If you're already on anti-inflammatory drugs or have any questions, consult with your doctor.'
