Sean Seah, originally from Singapore, completed the 30-day One Punch Man training programme, and the end results are impressive.
It’s now March, and the new year seems like a long time ago. But how many of you have stuck to your drunken new year’s resolutions when you woke up the next morning? Sean Seah, however, is a man of his word.
Living in Singapore, this 38-year-old man decided to embark upon a strange challenge for Chinese New Year. His goal was to do the One Punch Man training in order to lose his excess kilos. Over a period of 30 days, he will have to train daily.
A programme which is split into stages
Except, instead of doing damage to his body, like others who tried this programme, Sean Seah decided to proceed in stages; a solution which meant that he wouldn’t get discouraged too quickly, but above all to adapt the training to his level of fitness.
He therefore created 10 levels of difficulty, starting from level 1, with 10 press-ups, 10 sit-ups and 10 squats followed by a 1km run. At each level, you add 10 reps for each exercise, as well as 1 km of running. Sean Seah started his training at level 5.
At the end of the 30 days, his gamble was a success, and he lost 5km on the scales. From the lost weight, a pleasing six-pack and defined pectorals came through. But if the exercise would be enough for most people, the Singaporean admitted that he modified his diet quite a bit, leaving fried food and sugar behind in favour of fruit.
