It's 42 meters deep. For reference, this pool's depth is equal to the height of a 14-story building. Once you're in it, not only can you dive through thousands of square meters of water, but you can also explore caves and a magnificent tunnel visitors can see you through.

If ever you're in the Italian region of Veneto, in Montegrotto Terme, you should know that you've set foot in one of the most unique places in the world.

Should you decide to stay at the Millepini Terme hotel, you'll have the opportunity to take a dip in the world's deepest pool.

Forget Olympic swimming pools! We're talking about a swimming pool that also has caves, and where you can literally snorkel and swim up to 42 meters deep.

The pool is called Y-40 Deep Joy and is 21 meters long and 18 meters wide. There's a tunnel at the bottom that extends the pool, making it reach a depth of 42 meters.

But the world's biggest pool may not hold its record in the world for much longer, as not long ago, a hotel in Poland announced its intention to inaugurate a pool that would measure a few meters more. Just to snag that world record.

Would you dare to dive into the depths of this pool? You can check it out in the video.
