Whoever pulls out Excalibur will become the king of Disneyland

A true mythological object from the legend of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table, this sword is also straight from Disney's imagination, thanks in particular to the animated film The Sword in the Stone (1963). As a beautiful tribute to this movie, the sword can thus be found in all the Disneyland theme parks, solidly anchored in a stone as the legend says...

Removing the mythical sword is one of the obligatory challenges that tourists face when they go to Disneyland. A challenge that unfortunately leads to many failures... except for some lucky ones. This is the case of this visitor, in the Anaheim Disneyland Park in California, who managed to remove the sword. And to say the least, he didn't do it delicately.

According to the American site WDW News Today, he was in fact challenged by a friend, and therefore pulled out the sword with all his might. The famous Excalibur then broke into several pieces, but the result was there: he did indeed remove it from the stone. This then obviously alerted the park's staff, who quickly applied tape to the rock to avoid anyone suffering an injury. The sword and the stone were then removed and the mythical scene should only be back in place in about 4 months. As for the visitor, he is probably still waiting for his coronation...
