While currently The Last Jedi is stirring up quite the controversy and has effectively divided the loyal Star Wars fan base, Disney may have another potential problem on their hands with the yet unreleased Solo: A Star Wars Story – the origin story of popular character Han Solo.

After the seemingly sudden departure of original directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller, Ron Howard stepped in midway through production of the film. One source close to Disney has reported that the company has seen footage and, combined with the backlash of The Last Jedi, has already started to consider the project a write-off: “The script is unworkable. It’s going to be a car crash.”
Between this and the rumour that lead actor Alden Ehrenreich was hired an acting coach based off his poor performance during shooting does not bode well for the upcoming film. “The lead actor, Alden Ehrenreich, can’t act, and they had a dialogue coach on hand for all of his scenes”, the anonymous source has revealed. We can only wait and see if it’s as bad reports are saying.
