Sweet Tooth Comic adapted for a Netflix series

Just days ago, Robert Downey Jr announced that he and his wife Susan will be producing a series based on the Vertigo comic 'Sweet Tooth’, an imprint of DC Comics. The series was first commissioned by Hulu before it was later picked up by Netflix.

The Sweet Tooth comic is set in a post-apocalyptic world and follows the adventures of Gus, a young half boy/half deer who, after his father dies, ventures out into the world to survive. Christian Convery is set to play the main role in this series which promises to be as dark as the comics it will be adapted from. A release date has yet to be announced by Netflix, but we are still very intrigued by this project. In the meantime, why not go and check out Robert Pattinson who is refusing to bulk up for his role as Batman.
