The Mountain is very active, especially on his Youtube page. The latest video to date? A sequence in which the strongman lifts a barbell weighing almost 480 kg. A record for him, but still not enough next to The Beast's 500 kg bar.

A new record about to be broken?

Looking at the photos, Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson looks very fit and still has a small margin to make up with his bar weighing 480 kg. Now it remains to be seen whether he will try to equalise or, better still, break Eddie Hall's record set in 2017.
