Spain’s former police chief has claimed that the country’s exiled king was injected with female hormones because his sex drive was considered dangerous to the state.

Threat to National Security
According to the former security chief, José Manuel Villarejo, the king, Juan Carlos I, was given the shots by the Spanish Secret Service to cull his libido.
Villarejo, who is standing trial for blackmail and corruption, told a parliamentary hearing:
The National Intelligence Centre injected female hormones and testosterone blockers to control his libido because it was considered a problem of state that he was so horny. They took everything away from him, he couldn’t be with a woman or anything.
However, the former police officer denied having any involvement in the plans to control Juan Carlos’ libido. He said he got to know about this from Corinna Larsen, the ex-king’s former lover.
Considered the country’s most infamous ex-police chief, Villarejo, 70, is embroiled in a scandal involving deep-state apparatus going back several decades.
According to Politico Europe, his activities are thought
to have tarnished the reputations of an array of ministers, business leaders, senior figures in the judiciary, and even the monarchy.
The King of 5,000 Lovers
The disgraced former king of Spain, now 83, was widely admired for moving the country from General Franco’s tyrannical rule to democracy when he took over in 1975.
However, he is facing multiple criminal and corruption charges. He has been living in exile in Abu Dhabi in the UAE since last year, after his abdication in 2014.
Notorious for his philandering, Carlos is believed to have slept with thousands of women. In a recent book titled ‘Juan Carlos: The King of 5,000 lovers’, the author, Amadeo Martinez Ingles claimed the monarch had slept with more than 2,000 women in a period of 18 years.
