Donald Trump just gave his first television interview since he tested positive for COVID-19. He's recovered from the disease, but...
A week ago, Donald Trump tested positive for coronavirus. The POTUS was immediately hospitalised as a precaution. He continued to work throughout his stay at a hospital in Bethesda and even posted a video of himself giving an update on his health. But up until Friday, October 9, when he spoke to Fox News, he had not appeared in any TV interviews.
If you're curious about his treatment, he says:
Right now I’m medication free. I’m not taking any medications as of, you know, probably eight hours ago.I feel very strong.
Classic Donald Trump... Melania Trump's husband also commented on the state of his health a week prior:
Didn’t feel very vital. I didn’t feel like the president of the United States should feel.
According to him, he's doing better now thanks to the Regeneron IV infusion he received, which he says was 'unbelievable' and immediately made him feel better. But does Donald Trump think he still has the 'very contagious disease' that is the coronavirus? He said:
I have been retested, and I haven't even found out numbers or anything yet. But I've been retested, and I know I'm at either the bottom of the scale or free,
So basically, the president of the United States, who also happens to be in the middle of a presidential campaign, is doing well and he wants the world to know it:
I feel very good, very strong.
