A source told the Daily Star Sunday:

Rob is back after two years away. Producers have done everything they can to keep it hush-hush. Only select people have been made aware what is happening. For a big name like Rob to come back shows just how much he loves being part of the show.

Who is Sean Slater?

Sean Slater is the son of Jean Slater and brother of Stacey Slater. He originally appeared on EastEnders between 2006 and 2009 and made a brief return in 2019. As well as being part of the Slater family, Sean has links to a number of other characters on the Square.

He previously dated Chelsea Fox and Ruby Allen and has a complicated history with Jack Branning—as he initially thought Jack’s daughter Amy was his. On his last return to the show in 2019, viewers saw Sean struggling with his mental health as he learned that his ex Roxy Mitchell had died and that his mother Jean had been diagnosed with cancer.

Who is Rob Kazinsky?

After his first stint on EastEnders, Rob went on to appear in a number of Hollywood films, including George Lucas’ Red Tails and Guillermo del Toro’s Pacific Rim. He was also cast as a dwarf in The Hobbit, but had to withdraw from the role for personal reasons in 2011.
