It's no secret that 2018 was a seriously difficult year for Ant and Dec. After a drink-driving crash in March last year, Ant checked into rehab and took the rest of the year off work to focus on his recovery. Dec was left to front the remaining episodes of Saturday Night Takeaway alone, then went on to present the Britain's Got Talent live shows solo too. In November, he was joined by Holly Willoughby Down Under to help him present I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

All things considered, Dec did a stellar job of keeping the shows going in the absence of his best mate, but fans have been eagerly anticipating Ant and Dec's reunion since it was announced that Ant would be officially returning to work this January for the BGT auditions.
And this Friday, January 18th, Ant and Dec were seen together onstage again for the first time as they kicked off the Britain's Got Talent 2019 auditions in London. Dec took to the stage alone before announcing Ant's return and welcoming his co-host back onstage.
