But what does it really mean? Definitions of Big Dick Energy are pouring in from all sorts of sources. According to the French magazine, Inrocks, it is 'a quality which comes from the security of having a huge penis'. For the Guardian, it is 'charisma and confidence, coupled with the ability to almost instantly make other people feel good. In some ways, it’s the opposite of toxic masculinity.' On the other hand, Mashable says that Big Dick Energy is merely 'a new term for a certain kind of swagger.'
But not everyone can claim to have Big Dick Energy and in all cases it is strictly reserved for people, be they male or female, who are very charismatic. Celebrities such as Cate Blanchett, Rihanna and even Idris Elba have been said to give off that BDE.
