Why aren’t Adam Woodyatt and Simon Gregson in I’m A Celeb line-up?

Don’t panic—Adam and Simon will be entering Gwrych Castle, they’ll just be a little later than the other campmates. That’s because they are this series’ wildcard celebs. Each year, producers hold back a couple of celebs to make a late entrance and stir things up in the camp.

Last year, the wildcard celebs were Russell Watson and Ruthie Henshall, who entered Gwrych Castle on day 4. The previous series’ late entries were Andy Whyment and Cliff Parisi who also entered on day 4. So if we see this pattern continue, we could well see Adam and Simon making their I’m A Celeb debut on Wednesday 24 November.

I’m A Celeb first trial

Meanwhile, viewers can already start voting for which celeb they want to see face the first trial. With Adam Woodyatt and Simon Gregson out of the running for now, fans can choose between presenters Louise Minchin and Richard Madeley, athletes Kadeena Cox and Matty Lee, Saturdays star Frankie Bridge, football legend David Ginola, Dame Arlene Phillips, Emmerdale’s Danny Miller, DJ Snoochie Shy and music producer Naughty Boy.

This is the first time that I’m A Celeb has opened up the voting for the first trial before the episode has even aired. And you’ll have to be quick if you want to have your say as voting closes tonight (Tuesday 16th November) at 8pm. You can vote up to five times for free via the I’m A Celeb app.
