Something was hiding inside the trunk

As he was sawing a tree in half, he didn't notice anything strange. However, after successfully chopping down the tree, he discovered something absolutely gruesome. Saunders witnessed a strange, slimy, brown form flowing from its trunk... How nasty!

Ryan quickly realised what this unusual thing actually was as it started flowing from the trunk of the tree. A snake had somehow managed to weave itself inside the trunk and Ryan had unintentionally chopped it in half.

Despite his panic, Ryan took the time to film this unpleasant discovery and upload it onto YouTube. One wonders how the snake made it into the middle of the tree trunk, but the fact of the matter is that it did. But let's just say that it did not make it out alive...

Arboreal snakes

Some species of snakes are arboreal—they live and hunt in trees. Common arboreal snakes are brown tree snakes, golden tree snakes, ornate flying snakes and golden flying snakes. They can most commonly be found in Australia. The fact that they don't have limbs doesn't stop them from climbing trees—on the contrary! They use their muscles to wrap around the trunk and glide up.

But why do snakes live in trees? The answer is pretty simple—they want to make sure they stay as far away from predators as possible. Looks like this snake didn't plan on Ryan Saunders cutting down his home, though.
