An American study led by SureCall that was conducted with around 1000 participants reveals that 10% of them have admitted to checking their mobile phones during sex in the past. Imagine it, you’re in the middle of having sex, you’re having fun with your partner, when all of a sudden, they stop everything to respond to an urgent message, check their emails or even their Facebook notifications… weird right?

The study also found that people aged between 18-34 are twice as likely to do this than people outside this age bracket. The results don’t explain why people do it, but one thing is for sure, it’s definitely not a good sign and if this has happened to you in your relationship, you may want to think about seriously talking about it. Here’s a bit of advice so you don’t ruin the mood next time - put your phone on silent or even better, switch it off. That way, you’ll be able to enjoy yourselves 100%.
