The Latest John Wick Movie Has A Surprising Connection To Assassin's Creed

Attention, minor spoilers for John Wick 3.

John Wick 3, or rather John Wick: Parabellum just came out in cinemas. More successful than the last but still not up to the first, the film shone as usual for its outstanding action scenes and also took the opportunity to take us deeper into the lord that makes this series of films so much more appealing. As you probably already know, John Wick is a member of an association of international assassins that operates under a highly classified and structured creed. Remind you of anything?

Assassin's Creed, of course. And the similarities don’t stop there, since towards the middle of the film, John Wick goes to Morocco to meet the individuals at the top of this brotherhood who are none other than the Hashashins, a real brotherhood of XIIth century which served inspiration to the creators of Assassin's Creed. And the film goes even further in its references, since John Wick is cut off the directory to prove his allegiance again, exactly as in the games by Ubisoft.

Will a crossover be confirmed or is it a simple, deep easter-egg? We hope to learn more soon!
