This past weekend a McDonalds in Plymouth was plagued by a horde of over one hundred or so rambunctious youths, who allegedly, abused staff and caused damage to the restaurant.
Anyone who's ever worked in the foodservice industry will know how stressful a rush can be but imagine the stress that ensues when your restaurant is engulfed by over 100 mischievous teens just before closing time.
Well, this was exactly the case for employees of the fast-food chain restaurant located in Plymouth, Devon. The teens who are speculated to have been leaving a local Charity Six bash decided to make a pit stop by the hundreds at their local McDonalds.
The scene soon descended into chaos as the teens started causing damage to the property and abusing members of the staff as well as the public.
Police were called into action around midnight on Friday and they dispatched 5 double crewed cruisers and a Seargent due to the sheer numbers of the offenders. They were able to disperse the crowd and were even forced to take some of the trouble makers home.
The Charles Cross Policing Team took to Facebook in order to appeal to the parents of the youths in their community to prevent an event like this from happening again. With some comments on the post condemning the appalling behaviour and lack of respect from the youths.
