Surfer Lindsay Baldwin feared for her life when she came across three sharks while riding the waves near the coast of Florida.

Her GoPro she was wearing captured and recorded the encounter. The woman was surfing on a beach in Smyrna Beach, a coastal city located in the state of Florida (USA) when she ran into these curious sharks.

The footage shows sharks coming out of the water and surrounding Lindsay's board. You can see three sharks, the third of which stands out because of its size.

It appears to be common to see sharks near the coast, especially if there have been changes in water temperature. Lindsay explains this in her caption for the video:

Water temps fluctuating and beach friends showing up! That 3rd one was not small.

The video was originally posted on her Twitter account, but it went viral and was later shared on different social networks.

As a friendly reminder, shark attacks on humans are generally infrequent and rarely occur when they don't feel threatened or endangered.
