2,432 Pieces: Man Spent Weeks Building A Model, Then Disaster Struck

This employee of a toy shop was given the task of building a model of Doraemon, a character from a manga series. He spent weeks working on the project so that it would be finished in time for New Year’s Eve, but he could never have imagined what would happen next.

This employee of a toy shop in Thailand was asked to build a model out of Lego-like bricks. The figure had a total of 2,432 pieces and the client had given the shop a deadline for the model to be completed in time for New Year’s Eve.

A weeks’ worth of work

The man worked hard on the model and built it up piece by piece for a week. He was in a good mood because he was making good progress and thought he would be able to meet the deadline. When he had finished, he proudly presented the finished model, on camera, on Facebook.

Nobody expected that

But then something happened that the hard-working hobbyist really did not expect. His red tabby cat came flying around the corner heading straight for the model… And within seconds, the result of a week of work he had put in, lay in pieces on the floor

The man was obviously angry with his feline friend. But the animal then looked at its owner with its cute, googly eyes and put its front paws in the air to signal surrender and who could ever stay angry at that?

The employee then posted photos of his cat in front of the smashed model on Facebook, in quite a good-humoured way despite the circumstances. And honestly, who among us could have ever resisted that face?
