The ‘In My Feelings’ challenge for kids

Recently the ‘In My Feelings’ challenge has been making the rounds on the web. The goal is to dance to Drake’s track, outside of a moving car.

The Zoom challenge is like its little brother, since the principle is similar. Since young people are eager to be like their elders, they decided to come up with this challenge, which is not without its risks. The goal is simple, you have to film yourself pretending to drive a car to Lil Yachty’s ‘Mickey’ track. When the lyric ‘zoom’ comes up, the person is quickly pulled off-screen by their feet. As can be seen in the video, the contact to the head when they are pulled can be quite violent. The head can even be heard hitting against the ground in some videos, which shows the danger in this challenge which can cause physical damage to the head.

Faced with the unfortunate success of this challenge, Dr. Jennifer Widler wanted to warn young children on the website Women’s Health, ‘You could hurt your neck, cause back pain or injure your head.’

This challenge isn’t only endangering people - some have filmed themselves doing this challenge to their dogs for example. Another stupid and dangerous challenge is added to the list.
