A brand new swimming pool has just opened in Paris. But beware, minors under 16 years old are not allowed inside. But why?

Take the Paris metro line 8 and stop at Balard station. Then walk a few metres and you will find yourself in front of the Ministry of Defence. It is inside this building that you will find the most select' swimming pool in France.

In order to access it, you will need to apply for a Temporary Access Permit, valid for 3 years, on the Club Défense Balard Arcueil website, as it is a protected military compound. You will then have to pay a 10 euro administration fee, payable only by credit card.

Only after all this, you will be able to go for a swim in the newly opened swimming pool. But don't forget your identity card and bathing cap, which are mandatory. Then enjoy the 25-metre swimming pool until which is open until 10:45 pm!
