Appearing in their famous “Swimsuit Edition”, Huckaby said that she ‘always knew that the day would come’ but admitted that she ‘never thought it would be me’. The racy set of images certainly go a long way in promoting empowerment and self-confidence, no matter what your body type.

Through the sublime set of images, Brenna’s goal is to change the negative image that people seem to have of the disabled. She went on to say ‘I want to contribute to changing the negative image of disability. I want other women, no matter what their body type, to know that they can be powerful and sexy’.

Fair play Brenna and fair play to Sport’s Illustrated for standing up and promoting the sport of the Paralympics in this manner.
