Christmas must have come early for these sharks that were found swimming around a Christmas tree in the middle of someone’s living room.

Sussex Police found the pool full of sharks while responding to reports of disturbance.

Toothy Tenants

According to the officers, they were called to the ground floor flat in Haywards Heath on Friday and did not expect to find the shark-fest in the makeshift indoor aquarium.

It had an artificial Christmas tree in the middle, around which the sharks were happily circling. However, it is unclear if the predatory pets were the cause of the disturbances.

According to the police, they will be in touch with the housing association to find out if the tenancy agreement allows tenants to keep the snapping fish as pets.

It is unclear if the disturbance was related to the presence of the sharks. Getty Images

Unbelievable

Sharing the discovery on Twitter, Mid-Sussex Neighbourhood Policing Inspector, Darren Taylor, said he was shocked when he heard about this.

Just when you think you have heard it all! Team attended a premise over the weekend, only to discover a 8ft swimming pool in the front room. In the swimming pool (apart from water) were small sharks swimming around and an artificial Christmas tree in the middle! I kid you not!

You bet netizen’s had their wits sharpened to dig into this. One social media user said:

Please tell me someone started up the chorus for Baby Shark.
