Two riders fell from the Florida coaster whilst stricken on-lookers filmed the incident.
A total of ten people were left dangling when the 85ft Sand Blaster roller coaster in Daytona, Florida derailed on Thursday night. Firefighters were on the scene and worked as quickly as they could to save them. Six people were taken to hospital, with two critically injured.
The ride is 40 years old and an inspection in 2017 found 'numerous problems' with it. The ride had apparently been repaired and declared fit for reopening since then.
