There's an old saying about too much of a good thing, so let's hope this is a lesson for the man concerned. In Great Britain, a 36-year-old man ended up in the A&E after taking 35 Viagra pills in one hour. The result? He ended up with a 5-day erection.

‘Everything I saw was green’

Daniel Medforth, a builder, told reporters at the Mirror that he had swallowed dozens of the popular sex pill ‘for a laugh’ after drinking a little too much, but he soon regretted his decision. He explained:

I ended up feeling sick, dizzy, and hallucinating. Everything I saw was green.

It may have been a funny idea done for a laugh, but it could have had serious repercussions on the health of the thirty-year-old father of two. The icing on the cake?

I had a massive erection that would not go away.

Hospitalised as an emergency

Suffering from dizziness, hallucinations, and severe headaches, Daniel Medforth was confined to hospital for a few days to recover. ‘You could see they were trying not to laugh,’ he said regarding the medics who treated him. It was only after five days that he finally got rid of the persistent erection, which had become extremely painful.

This stupid idea did not please the doctors and nurses who did not hesitate to reprimand him. ‘The doctors and nurses told me off,’ said the man from Withernsea in the east of the UK.
