'I’m A Celeb 2021' will be ‘more vicious’ than last year

Amid continuing lockdowns and border restrictions in Australia, I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! 2021 is set to be filmed in Wales’ Gwrych Castle for the second year running. While it was a last-minute replacement location last year, bosses have had more time to plan for the change this time around—and it sounds like they’ll be making the most of everything the castle and the Welsh countryside have to offer to make it a really brutal experience for the celebs—and great fun for all of us watching at home.

I’m A Celeb 2021 to be ‘vicious’

One of last year’s camp mates, Vernon Kay, has got an insider scoop on what this year’s celebs will be facing. He told The Mirror:

I’ve heard that it’s going to be more vicious, it’s going to be on a bigger scale. And they’re going to be doing lots more activities. I’ve heard this year’s trials are going to be out and about – more of the countryside.

When is I’m A Celeb 2021 starting?

No start date has yet been confirmed for I’m A Celeb 2021. However, the show traditionally starts around the middle of November and the launch show is always on a Sunday night. With that in mind, we reckon it’s pretty likely that I’m A Celeb 2021 will start airing on Sunday 14th November.

Last year, the line-up was confirmed by ITV a week ahead of the launch show, but there’s no guarantee they’ll do the same this year. Some of the stars rumoured to be setting off to Wales this winter include Little Mix’s Jade Thirlwall, ex-BBC presenter Louise Minchin and ex-EastEnder Jake Wood.
