Third place goes to...

Starting with number three in the rankings, we have The Amalfi Coast in Italy. This classic UNESCO site attracts people for its superb countryside full small hidden beaches and picturesque pastel-coloured villages, perched on a cliff between the mountains and the sea.

Located in the Campania region, the area stretches for 50 kilometres from the southern shoreline to the peninsula in Sorrento. Just imagine for a moment: staying in a dreamy villa between the vineyards, sitting on the terrace with the citrus trees in bloom. And what’s better than starting your life together, dolce vita style?

The runner-up...

Moving on up, the second on the list is Anchorage, Alaska's largest city located in south-central part of the state on the Cook Inlet. The gorgeous region is known for its richness in heritage and culture and emblematic craftsmanship whilst offering the beauty of wildlife to your doorstep.

How about a cosy chalet between the lake and the snowy mountains, it’s all so magical. And then there’s the aurora borealis, all wrapped up with your number one, a glass of mulled wine in hand. Not too shabby, right?

And the winner is...

Finally in first place, we had to choose the hidden treasure in the Eastern Caribbean: Anguilla. Overlooking Saint Martin, the British overseas island is graced with sandy beaches stretching out as far as the eye can see, with isolated coves for you to discover and explore to your heart's content.

It would be a postcard-worthy scene to walk hand-in-hand along the beach, with the sunset simply taking your breath away. Make sure to take pictures - and take plenty - so you can remind yourselves of the heavenly landscapes.
