You may be surprised to find out that an average slice of pizza and a bowl of cereal with whole milk contain nearly the same amount of calories. However, pizza packs a much larger protein punch, which will keep you full and boost satiety throughout the morning.

This bold claim was made by dietician Chelsey Amer to Evening Standard, and frankly, we’re inclined to believe her.

If that isn’t enough for you to make the switch from a bowl of Coco Pops to a nice slice of pizza tomorrow morning, consider this: one slice of pizza contains significantly less sugar than a bowl of processed cereal. So really you’d be doing your body a favour in another way.

If you have a pizza that is heavily laden with cheese and pepperoni than that’s not a good decision, but if it has lots of vegetables then it could be good,' states Priya Tew, another dietary specialist. So who else is game for a leftover slice tomorrow morning?
