Stranger Things, a true phenomenon ever since it was released, has returned with its 80s nostalgia. After two amazingly successful seasons, the platform has just released a new trailer announcing that very soon, a third even more outstanding season will be released.

This is excellent news for fans that are looking forward to following the show this summer. And this wasn’t the only good news that was released, this trailer was followed by another announcement that is even more tempting. It turns out the third season of Stranger Things will be accompanied by Stranger Things 3: The Game which will be released at the same time.
Despite its very original title, this isn’t the first time that Stranger Things has been adapted into a game. It has to be said that the universe in the series completely revolves around the videogame revolution of the time and we sense that the creators were quite influenced by this time period. First it was just for phones to accompany the second season, and now as games that are about to be released for the consoles in our living room. Still with its 16-bit style but using current technology, the Stranger Things licence will allow players (because yes, you will be able to play together) to discover new things about the universe and its history. We’re hoping that the project will be seen through this time!
With 12 different, playable characters (each with their own skills), Stranger Things 3: The Game will be released on 4th July this year on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Switch.
