Avoid tight clothing

When you wear underwear that is too tight, your intimate area has no room to breathe, sweat and gunk builds up and bad odours can occur. Try wearing looser, more comfortable underwear, to let your jewels breathe free in the summer breeze.

Eating garlic

Garlic gives off a strong smell, as do onions and leeks, although they have many health benefits. And the thing is, it's not just on your breath. When they are processed in the body, the smell of sweat can be more concentrated and pestilent, so if you want to have, say, an intimate encounter, it would be better to avoid having any, as the genital area may also emit these odours.

Urinary tract infections

Urinary tract infections can be diagnosed if the bad smell is accompanied by a frequent urge to urinate, discomfort or pain during sexual intercourse, as well as changes in the colour of the urine. This is an indicator that you should see a doctor, as the bad smell is one of the minor symptoms and the situation can worsen without proper treatment.

Eating junk food

Although the aroma and appearance of fast food may often times be an invitation to eat, the moment the body processes it, it can generate a bad smell that will also be reflected in your intimate area. The ideal is to follow a balanced diet abundant in fruits, vegetables and water to purify toxins.

STDs (Sexually Transmitted Diseases)

If you feel more changes in your intimate area, such as irritation, itching, burning, constant odour and internal or external sores, you may have a sexually transmitted disease and it is best to see a doctor to be treated and prescribed according to your needs.
