After a successful closed beta that occurred back in September 2017, Bandai Namco is coming back for round 2 in a big way. This time, both Xbox and Playstation consoles (sorry Switch owners) will have the opportunity to check out Dragon Ball FighterZ, whether they preordered the game or not.

If you’ve preordered the game, you can access your exclusive access code through the official website in order to get into the beta early! Follow the instructions on the site and you should be able to access the game as early as 9 a.m. on January 13th. Haven’t received your code yet? Don’t panic: you should receive a mail from Bandai a day before the beta opens with more info.

Haven’t preordered the game? You’re in luck: you’ll find the game in the stores for both consoles the very next day on January 14th, at 9 o’clock in the morning.

Players will be able to try their hand pitting 11 different legendary characters from the Dragon Ball Z universe against each other for a short period of time - up until the 16th of January.
