Nintendo Switch: These are the best-selling Pokemon games of all time

Pokemon Sword and Shield have overtaken Gold and Silver in the number of units sold, but by how much?

There are many different Pokemon games, each slightly different from the last. Many Pokemon fans debate over which version is the better game. Of course, this comes down to personal preference, however, sale numbers can also indicate which versions were most popular.

Pokemon Sword and Shield

Pokemon Sword and Shield have just climbed the Pokemon rank and have gone ahead of Gold and Silver, with just under 24 million units sold. Despite this huge accomplishment, Sword and Shield haven’t managed to overtake the original GameBoy versions Red, Green and Blue.
