Stephen King needs no introduction. The prolific American writer is probably the most famous author in the world, thanks to his ability to constantly reinvent himself for nearly 40 years now, but also thanks to the many cinematographic adaptations of his works.
And if there is one area in which he excels, it is horror. With cult books such as ‘It,’ ‘The Shining’ and ‘Misery,’ all adapted for the cinema, King has become a reference in the field of horror, a genre he is very fond of.
A popular French series
Very active on Twitter, the author from Maine is used to sharing his opinions on his current passions. He said he was particularly fond of a new series available on Netflix since September 2019 called ‘Marianne.’
This horror series tells the story of a writer known for her horror books who returns to her childhood village and is confronted with paranormal phenomena. Created by Samuel Bodin, this production is entirely French, from the cast to the directors, even if it is produced by Netflix.
A recommendation from the creator of the mythical clown Pennywise who compares a series to Stranger Things... It's hard to do better than that!
