This 16-Year-Old Made Nearly £20,000 During His Summer Holidays

When you’re only 16, it’s not always easy to make some extra pocket money. Grayson Shaw, an American teenager seems to have found a great technique to make a bit of extra cash. A tinkerer at heart, he spent his last summer holidays repairing smartphones and within a few months, his summer job has earned him no less than 24,000 dollars! Who can top that?

Grayson Shaw lives on the small island of Nantucket near Boston and he took advantage of his skills to make a bit of money over the summer. He repairs smartphones for tourists who spend their holidays on the island and we all know it, when it comes to phones, accidents always happen. Grayson Shaw stands out as the smartphone and tablet genius when something bad happens during the holidays. It’s simple, he knows how to repair everything. Buttons, speakers, microphones, batteries, screens…. The teenager worked so much that in just one summer, he pocketed 24,000 dollars!

And he’s not the only teen who decided to get in on this unusual job. Joseph Kokenge, an 18-year-old American also decided to leave his summer job in a bowling alley after seeing how easy it was to repair iPhones in tutorial videos on YouTube. And he was quite right!

This is without a doubt the most fun summer job in history.
