The Inbetweeners reunion show on New Year's Day sadly ended up being a massive disappointment. Not only were fans gutted that it was a panel show rather than a new episode, they complained that the programme was unfunny and that the stars seemed like they didn't want to be there.

However, it turned out that it wasn't only the fans who were disappointed with the reunion show - as James Buckley (aka Jay) has revealed that it wasn't what he was expecting it to be either. In a heartfelt apology to fans of the show, James Buckley explained exactly what went wrong and rubbished rumours that he and co-stars Simon Bird, Joe Thomas and Blake Harrison are anything less than the best of friends.
However, the podcast also contained one seriously sad detail for Inbetweeners fans - and for some reason it's barely been reported on.
