The British survival reality TV show is hosted by Declan Donnelly and Anthony McPartlin, with the exception of last year’s series which saw Holly Willoughby replace Ant for that year and is set to return for its 19th series later this year.

Creative director Richard Cowles has said that while they never opt for conflict casting, they ensure that events in the jungle will campers tested to their limits; “We will always try and cast for warmth and for people to get on. But we want it to be as stressful as it can be because that’s when you see people’s true colours and how they would react.”

Producers are now in the midst of sealing deals regarding who will present their spin-off show I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here: Extra Camp and while Caroline Flack was originally in talks, it appears that she’ll have her hands full with the winter edition of Love Island.

Bosses have singled out runners up, Emily Attack and John Barrowman to help host this year’s show; “Producers loved John and Emily together last year and were looking for formats for them once they left Australia…the newbies can bring their own madness to the table.”
