Careful, it's going to be bloody!

Syfy has earned broadcasting rights for this brand new series. Do you have any idea who we're talking about? Here's a clue ... this character is a HATEFUL killer doll. Yes, Chucky's coming back! And to do things right, it is the original creator of the evil doll, Don Mancini, who took the lead in this adaptation. Something he's wanted to do for a long time, as he said during an interview with Deadline.

"I have long wanted to adapt Chucky to television and Syfy is the perfect network for us. The program will be an update of the franchise, allowing us to explore Chucky's character with a depth that only the small screen allows thanks to its serial format, while remaining faithful to the original idea, which has now terrorized the public for three decades."

It is true that this character has marked generations and the history of cinema. Chucky was one of the first horror movies featuring a deadly doll. A Pandora's box, which has been followed by films of the same ilk, such as Annabelle or Saw.

The screenwriter said that the series will be bloody and subject to "viewer discretion". As for whether it's a reboot or a continuation, nobody knows for now. But one thing is certain, the devilish puppet will come back to terrorize his fans once again!

Sleep well - while you still can!
