Pennywise the clown is coming back to terrorize us next September. The adaptation of Stephen King's novel "It" is getting a sequel that will take place 27 years after the first part, which was released in 2017.
After its release, the horror movie about a killer clown was met with great success, becoming the biggest hit in horror! Given that it collected more than $ 700 million in world box office revenue, it made sense to make a sequel.
It's going to be very gory
In an interview on Jimmy Fallon's The Tonight Show, Jessica Chastain - who will play an adult Beverly - has teased a few anecdotes surrounding the upcoming movie. According to the actress, one of the scenes of the feature film will be one of the goriest and one of the bloodiest in the history of horror movies. There was so much blood that the young woman couldn't get rid of it until the day after the shooting.
Horror lovers will be pleased with the second chapter of It. The film is currently in the editing phase and fans hope that a trailer is on its way. The film is expected in cinemas in September 2019.
