There are manyfoods that promote hair loss. We'll tell you which foods you should stop eating if you want to have stronger hair.

Sugar and artificial sweeteners

One type of food that worsens the health of your hair are the ever so popular 'light' or 'diet' foods. These foods may be low-fat, but they are packed with artificial sweeteners. As bad as artificial sweeteners are for your health, you probably know that regular sugar isn't either. And contrary to popular belief, sugar can be found not only found in pastries and soft drinks, but also in other foods.

Consuming too much sugar can alter your levels of hormones and cause your protein levels to drop, making your hair less healthy.

Processed foods

Another type of processed food you should remove from your diet—or at least eat less of—is fast food. Swap these foods out for healthier alternatives as much as possible.

And since we're talking about fast food, sausages are nearly as terrible for our overall health because of their high fat and salt content.Salt makes your hair drier, and dryness causes your hair to lose its density and slows down its growth. So if you want to improve the health of your hair, you're going to want to cut down on the salt.

If you want to have healthy, strong hair and prevent alopecia, look out for foods mentioned above. All it takes is a few small changes to your diet to keep your hair nice and thick.
