Game Of Thrones Fans Are Going To ‘Need Therapy’ After Season 8, Warns Gwendoline Christie

The season finale of Game of Thrones is promising to be full of emotion. HBO has officially announced the release date for season 8 which is set for 8th April 2019. So we only have a few months left before witnessing the tragic fate that awaits our favourite heroes.

Although HBO has kept quite calm and cool about the outcome of the story, the actors haven’t been able to stop themselves from dropping a few hints every now and again. This is especially true of Peter Dinklage, Sophie Turner and even the director David Nutter. And the latest hint has come from Gwendoline Christie, the actress who plays Brienne in the show.

‘You’re going to need therapy’

During an interview with E! News, the actress warns all fans of the show to go see a psychologist when they’ve finished watching the series, and maybe even follow it up with therapy!

‘You’re going to need therapy. I think just the show ending is going to send all of the world into professional help. I think it’s going to make me incredibly emotional. We’re all emotional about the fact that this is the end, and this is the end of something incredibly significant for all of us, and it’s been a truly incredible thing to be part of.’

And that’s it… After seeing season 8, half of the population will be hiding under their beds in the fetal position and moping. We can’t wait to find out what’s going to happen to put us in this state!
