The world’s fastest man Usain Bolt has been saying for ages that he would make the switch from running to football one day, and it appears that the day has finally come. After stating just this week that he signed to play for a club, he took to his official Twitter to announce where he’d be lacing up his cleats.

The Lightning Bolt himself will see his debut take place at Old Trafford in Manchester in the coming months, home of his favourite club.

However, the long time Red Devils fan will not be playing for Manchester United. Usain Bolt will be leading the Rest of the World team as captain against England at this year’s Soccer Aid. The England team will once again see Robbie Williams as captain.

The event will take place June 10th, 2018. Tickets will cost from £10-£50, with proceeds going to UNICEF. Tickets are on sale here.

Will we see Rest of the World pull out the win this year, or will England come out on top once again? We’ll find out soon enough!
