At the origin of this controversy is this photo which was posted on January 1st on Instagram. In the photo you can see the PSG star posing alongside Arthur Melo, a Barça footballer and Brazilian surfer Gabriel Medina. As reported by BFM, the athletes spent the New Year at a private party in Barra Gande, Bahia in eastern Brazil.
In the photo the Brazilian is surrounded by 26 women, all dressed in white. The photo then set fire to the web with many women reacting, including Brazilian women. Indeed, Neymar is standing above multiple rather sexy young women. But to respond to this criticism, footballer Arthur Melo posted another photo in which they are accompanied by 24 men.
